Ron Z - STATUS UPDATE. Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Latest CT Scan Result and Hospice. The Scan result showed that the Radiation treatment on the large tumor on my Liver was very effective. The tumor has been almost totally eliminated leaving only dead tissue. The other tumors have grown; the Pancreas, the rest of the Liver and the Spleen are totally engulfed by tumors. The pain has somewhat lessened, but I am still taking almost the same dose of morphine that I was before the radiation.

Ron Z - STATUS UPDATE. Sunday, February 24, 2013. I remain about same healthwise except fot one new unusual sympton. I have lost my voice; it is down in volumn to only a whisper. This adds to Dorothy's wokload because people cannot understand me on the telephone; therefore she has to answer the phone for me and make all the return calls. Thank you for all your support; please continue to send your prayers our way. Dorothy and I are gratefull for them and very dependent on them. Ron Z - STATUS UPDATE.

Ron Z - STATUS UPDATE. Saturday, April 14, 2012. Things really moved quickly this past week. Monday was a consultation appointment with Dr. Riad Salem at Northwestern University Hospital(NUH). On Wednesday morning at 6:30 AM, we received another call from the Asst. She said that a dose of the microspheres had unexpectedly become available and could we return on Friday AM for the actual Embolization procedure? Ron Z - STATUS UPDATE. Monday, January 21, 2013. The day after Christmas I ran into some complications and have not been doing well since that time. I have been losing energy and I lay in bed most of the day. The Doctors think that the energy loss is do to Disease progression. We rejoined Hospice about three week's ago.
