Dancing in the Rain: June 2012

Monday, June 18, 2012. And jumps, and jumps, and gives her bed a real beating. This is Emmersen's most recent way to greet us of a morning when we enter her room. Hilarious, that silly girl! Sunday, June 17, 2012. Saturday, June 16, 2012. Since the weather has turned nice, this is where I can usually find the girls on any given afternoon following naptime: Outside on the back patio, hose on, sink full, heads and/or feet in water- clothing optional. Friday, June 15, 2012. Monday, June 11, 2012. We moved t...

Dancing in the Rain: October 2011

Monday, October 31, 2011. Snow White and the Bee. Thursday, October 27, 2011. Monday, October 24, 2011. There are many benefits to being a stay-at-home mom. One that I am taking full advantage of is being able to make impromptu trips home. My mom just had surgery on her foot and will be slow-going for several weeks so it's much easier for us to travel than the other way around. We had no plans, no schedule. Aren't those the best trips? Monday, October 17, 2011. And While We're At It. Sarcasm aside, Avery...

Dancing in the Rain: January 2012
http://leetchfamily.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 20, 2012. Nothing like an emergency to force you into finding a pediatric dentist. Before today, Avery had not been to a dentist. After today, she's squeezed in an appointment, has a follow-up scheduled for next week, and a regular check-up in 6 months. Way to go, Avery. Avery was sitting on her knees at one of our kitchen table chairs. She had her hands on the table, arms fully straight and supporting the whole upper half of her body. You see where this is going? Breaking In the Shovel.

Dancing in the Rain: April 2012
http://leetchfamily.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 28, 2012. Today we celebrated Avery's birthday with some of her (princess) friends. I have 2 disclaimers to make before we go on:. 1 The concept for this party- Tangled a.k.a Rapunzel- proved easy. The logistics however, were an absolute nightmare. Remind me to not. Host a party at a place that gives me a mere 15 minutes to set up. Fifteen, people! No, the original invite did not have a white streak through it. I blurred through my phone number for this post.). Friday, April 27, 2012.

Prior to that, we lived in Jonesboro, AR which is where we met. We married in April of 2005 after a quick engagement. Some thought we were crazy for getting engaged after only knowing each other for 6 weeks and then marrying 5 months later! View my complete profile. And baby makes 3. Another princess in the castle. Dancing in the Rain: March 2012
http://leetchfamily.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 31, 2012. Or in other words, a reason to try out yet another Pinterest creation, this time in the form of food. Seriously though, tonight we hosted a celebration dinner for the Whitworth men's basketball coaches for the incredible season they had. This was a great opportunity for me to put some faces with names and get to know each coach and his family a little better. Oh, and to try some new recipes! Monday, March 26, 2012. Handprint flowers. Now why didn't I think of that? So, here we h...

Dancing in the Rain: August 2011
http://leetchfamily.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 25, 2011. I can't believe the day has arrived where my baby is ready for preschool! Ready or not, it's here. Tonight we attended Avery's preschool open house. I think I was just as excited as she was! We were able to meet her teachers, see her classroom, and mingle with other families. Avery is ready for this. I know I 'm biased as her parent, but she's a smart cookie! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel very comfortable. The only downfall? Supporting her big sis.
