Room 211 Reading: Maella
http://room211reading.blogspot.com/2009/04/i-think-worst-thing-about-child-labor.html
Wednesday, April 8, 2009. I think the worst thing about child labor is children do not have childhoods because they work too hard to ever have fun or to go to school. The reason why I think this is because children all over the world are loosing their childhood. James Flores and eleven year old Tariah are stuck working for people that don’t care about their education. James works long hours picking crops that helps feed all of us. Tariah works picking trash in a dump and she is only eleven years old!

Monday, April 13, 2009. I think the worst thing about child labor is kids might work 12 hours a day for only 50 cents with no breaks. Some of these kids are 5 or 6 when they start working and they work every day until they are older teenagers. I think everything about child labor is very wrong. I'm glad the America has child labor laws. There should be NO child labor in the world. Posted by Mrs. Gott. The worst thing about child labor is that it’s so cruel! Children can’t go to school or have fun. I thin...

Room 211 Reading: Dan
http://room211reading.blogspot.com/2009/04/dan.html
Wednesday, April 8, 2009. I think the worst thing about child labor is that they work for 17 hours and 30 minutes and they get 15 cents per hour for lacing up $100 tennis shoes. Children don’t go to school. Every kid should have the right to go to school. Posted by Mrs. Gott. Great opinion, Dan. I agree with you that it is so unfair that the children have to work for 17 hours and 30 minutes. That to me is like abuse. So i hope that a lot people like Dan come together and help fight child labor. April 27,...

Wednesday, April 8, 2009. I think the worst thing about child labor is that kids can’t be kids. For example, when kids aren’t living their life by going to school, playing sports, eating, or just having fun; it isn’t the same! Kids should be kids. Also, I think the worst thing about child labor is picking through garbage. Some kids have to pick through garbage for work. Children should go to school. What are some ways we can help stop child labor around the world? Posted by Mrs. Gott. Sarah your right...

Room 211 Reading: Josh
http://room211reading.blogspot.com/2009/04/josh.html
Wednesday, April 8, 2009. I think the worst thing about child labor is the poor job conditions. The reason why I think it’s the worst thing is because in ‘Life in the Dumps’ it says that Tariah, an 11 year old girl, pick through garbage but there is broken glass that cuts. How can we help stop it? Posted by Mrs. Gott. The first step to stopping the problem of child labor is to raise people's awareness, as you are doing, Josh. Thanks for writing about this important issue! April 15, 2009 at 7:28 AM. You a...

Room 211 Reading: Luke
http://room211reading.blogspot.com/2009/04/luke.html
Wednesday, April 8, 2009. The worst thing about child labor I think is how much money they make and where and how long they work. I think that the children should get more money then cents an hour. Also I, don’t like how they work in hot weather in dumps, factories, and fields because they could get really sick. Children should be going to school and not laboring. Posted by Mrs. Gott. Nice post, Luke. We like it because you gave supporting details. Child labor is not safe. April 14, 2009 at 12:50 PM.
