These fabulous bikes are an example of the bikes which were drawn as part of our study on Connections. The children observed a bike carefully and then used pastels to add colour with an emphasis on learning how to blend colours effectively. Room 12's Blog 2011
Thursday, September 22, 2011. What a busy term we have had and hasn’t it just flown by. We all enjoyed learning about dog safety in weeks 1 and 2 and the visit by the Police dogs. Cross Country training was well underway by then, and everyone that participated tried their very best, and a great day was had by all. Cory secured a 4th place in the Yr 5 boy’s race and Natalie a 2nd place in the Yr 5 girls. Both were qualifiers for the next stage ‘Group Day’. Monday, August 29, 2011. Room 12s Tennis with Ron.

The official blog for Room 12, Waiuku Primary School. Wednesday, 12 December 2012. We had a great time today at our 12/12/12 party! We played a fun 12/12/12 board game, where we had to do activities if we landed on a polar bear like name 12 of our favourite foods or say an addition question when the answer is 12. We had a very exciting week last week as we entered into a National Maths competition on Sumdog. That meant that our class needed to answer lots of questions correctly and spend as much time as possible answering them. Wednesday, March 25, 2009. 8220;2,4,6,8 Who Do We Appreciate? Not The King Not The Queen Only The TE PUNA TEAM! On Sunday 15th of March, some of our year 5 and 6. Te Puna School students battled it out against 24 other schools at the annual Top School Competition at Gate Pa School. I was in the cheerleading team. Room 12's Writing Space. Welcome to Room 12's Writing Blog. Tuesday, 14 March 2017. I saw my paddock flooded. It was far away so it couldn't get us. We were stuck at home because of the flood. Monday, 13 March 2017. There was a big flood in Clevedon at school. There were places around Clevedon that were flooded. On the weekend it was flooded. It was dirty. I saw the slip. On the weekend I saw the huge flood at the polo grounds when I was driving in my car to watch my dad at a triathlon.
