We saw some fascinating experiments that taught us about scientific concepts and enjoyed a show about electricity. Room 14 FIS 2015. Wednesday, 27 May 2015. Over the past few weeks we have been exploring the phenomena magnetism. We have mostly been using bar magnets and have learnt that north and south poles on a magnet attract. Each other but the same poles repel. Yesterday we also watched the following video clip which explained that Earth is a giant magnet. Because the inner core turns faster than the rest of the Earth, creating a magnetic field. This term our big learning is "expressing our individuality through performance.". We have been learning about some of the elements of dance and drama.
