Miss Lowther gave us two batteries, two wires and a light bulb and told us that we had to join them up to make a circle. It was quite a challenge but we did it! Sunday, 11 October 2015. Trip to Auckland Zoo. Piwakawaka 1 classes all went to Auckland Zoo by bus as part of our inquiry topic on how animals cooperate and compete. We were shown around by the zookeepers and saw lots of interesting animals. The giraffes had a baby that was friends with the zebras.
