Sunday, August 28, 2011. Daffodil Day, Friday 26th August 2011. The Cancer Society of New Zealand's Daffodil Day symbolises hope for 1 in 3 New Zealanders affected by cancer. Children at Botany Downs bought Daffodils for $2.00 and stickers for $1.00 to help support this very worthy cause. All the money collected will go towards vital scientific research into the causes and treatment of all types of cancer. Together with our buddy class, we drew daffodils outside our class. Mr J's special All Black Jersey.

Room 10 All Stars! Tuesday, 23 August 2011. Botany Downs School Maths Week. In week 3 at Botany Downs School, we had Maths week. It was totally awesome. The children in Room 10 thought Maths week was totally cool, awesome and really super. We had lots and lots and lots of fun! We loved it. Look at some of the learning activities we participated in during Maths week. We learnt how to play a new maths game called Scaredy Cat. We were learning how to add numbers together. I really hope it was fun room 10.
