Room 29 Young Learners. Thursday, 18 December 2014. Our Last Blog Post. It's been a short, but busy week. Here are a few things we got up to. Falcon, the guide dog, who lives at Brooke's house, came to visit us when he was 14 weeks old. This week we met him again. Now he is 9 months old. We weeded the Kea Garden. And planted beans, corn, spinach and celery. We made snow globes. We made Christmas boxes with Room 31. Some Room 9 children came to help us. Packed up for the last time. Friday, 12 December 2014.

Room 29 Young Learners. Friday, 27 June 2014. Brooke's family are caring for a guide dog puppy. This week Brooke's Mum brought Falcon to school to meet us. We learnt a lot about Falcon and what he will do when he goes to Guide Dog School and become a guide for a blind person. The children enjoyed patting him and I think Falcon enjoyed it too, especially having his tummy rubbed. Falcon's claws are sharp like my cat's claws and he's got a silky nose and brown eyes. Room 29 Young Learners. Thursday, 29 May 2014. The children now have their photo ID to take to the P.E. Trolley so they can borrow equipment to play with. The photo tracks that they have borrowed equipment, then it is returned to them when they return the equipment. Day 1 with their photos and they are loving it. They all borrowed equipment today. What's happening in Room 29? Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Today in art we made colour wheels with Mrs. Groom using hand prints. We got together with our buddies and painted our hands with primary colours. Primary colours are Yellow, Blue and Red. We then printed our hand prints with the primary colours, making sure that two hand prints over lapped each other making a secondary colour. Secondary colours are Green, Orange and Purple. We learnt that when two primary colours mix they make a secondary colour.
