My Teaching Life: August 2010
http://iteachilearnigive.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 8, 2010. 11 The tool I enjoyed the most was creating a Photo Story. I was surprised how easy it was to create one. The kids could pick it up very quickly and share their knowledge with others. We could let the kids do the teaching! One unexpected outcome was that I should not fear technology but embrace it. I now have a solid platform to really explore and learn. After all, this is the future of education. Dragon Dictation, Baby Flash Cards, German Tutor and iRewards. Baby Flash cards is j...

http://eyringeducation.blogspot.com/2010/07/wiki-walk-through.html

Travelogue from a field trip - or a NON field trip the class would like to take (Our non-trip to the zoo and what we wish we had seen). What I think will be on the test - others can contribute. Friday, July 16, 2010. E-porfolio: wordpress.com vs. wix.com. The survival of the fittest has begun! In trying to get my e-portfolio up and running, I have entered the arena with www.wordpress.com. And www.wix.com. I first started out using wordpress. I got all of my artifacts and rationales uploaded, but I was at a loss of how to make it cute. In my experience, www.wordpress.com. Is more technical. I then turned to www.wix.com. To check out the competition. I really liked what www.wix.com. If you want t...

pi2.0: Task 7
http://tishaj1.blogspot.com/2010/08/task-7.html
Friday, August 6, 2010. I think that I could see myself using a Wiki. I like the idea of collectively sharing ideas all in one place. Being that I will be teaching a K-1 class, I wasn't sure if it would be something that I would really be able to use, but then I looked at the wiki of a first grade class. That used their wiki to create a class story. What an awesome idea! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Picture Window template. Powered by Blogger.

Wednesday, August 11, 2010. My favorite parts are the social bookmarking, which I think I will be using A LOT, learning about wikis, and finding new tools that I didn't know about (OK there's not much I didn't like, especially now that I've had a chance to digest it all LOL). I still am a little overwhelmed by the blogging thing. There are so many! I just can't imagine people really wanting to read what I write.). Which I think she might be able to find some uses for. I also want to talk with her abo...
