What's New in Room 41. Thursday, 12 March 2015. We are looking forward to student-led conferences on March 12th and 13th. Grade 3 swimming lessons will begin on Mondays starting April 20th- June 1st. Permission forms will be available at student led conferences. Pizza Lunch order forms came home today. Pizza lunch is on April 21st. Forms are due back bYApril 10. What's New in Room 41. Thursday, 12 March 2015. In math we have been connecting to our overall theme of the Arctic and Polar Bears. It is truly hard to believe how incredibly large a polar bear truly is. We have been measuring out the size and comparing it to things in our classroom to get a better idea. We have been learning about standard measurement and non standard measurement. To measure a polar bear we would use meters but, to measure the distance a polar bear swims we would use kilometers.

What's New in Room 41. Friday, 17 April 2015. Amazing Day with the Polar Bears. It was an incredible day. The weather was perfect for our trip to the zoo. We learned a lot during our Journey Through Churchill tour. The polar bears were swimming so we stood in the tunnel and watched as they swam around us. It was marvellous!
