We are Russell School's year 3/4 students. Look at all the awesome learning we do! What do you like most about our blog? ARMISTICE - LEST WE FORGET. It's a long way to Tipperary . Some of our kids have been learning about Armistice Day and it was our pleasure to make poppies and write some amazing poems in rememberance of our soldiers who went to war for us back in 1911. We are Russell School's year 3/4 students. Look at all the awesome learning we do! What do you like most about our blog? Words, words and more words YAY! Writing is FUN . Spelling is too. Each morning we do get to test each other on our spelling. Whaea Rachel takes our Pukeko group and sometimes we will make a competition out of it. At the end of the week we have a big test in our group. We have our own cards to take home to learn our words and its so much fun. Alatina is on his way with star spelling.

Was a detailed process – making a photo grid, transferring grid to large paper, outlining, drawing letters and then finally colour.
