http://rm2umo.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 19, 2010. Wow we are so clever! Two twinkling stars in the Room 2 galaxy. One just new called Nyrissa, she has a fabulous smile and has settled in so easily that it's as though she's always been here with us. The other little star has been working so very hard at storywriting sounding out his words and even checking the word card for that tricky word! No more looking at the ceiling for our Sam - oh no, he's far too busy now! Farewell to our wooden friend! Saturday, March 6, 2010.

We made sculptures out of construction materials today. We had to think about making our sculptures different from the cardboard box sculptures we made last week. We thought it was easier to make these sculptures than the cardboard box ones, because we didn't have to stick things on with tape or glue. Thursday, August 18, 2011.

Children from five local schools rearing to go, dressed in their togs and wearing big smiles. Parents catching up with eachother from the last meeting and older children from these schools organising the tabloids. What an awesome day it was! Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Swinging along till the end of the term. Look at what Jake made with his mum! It's an awesome swing bridge just like the one in his reading book called The Impossible Bridge. Jake and his reading group were fascinated about the different types of bridges that there are in the world. The class decided it might be fun to see if his model could hold some cars and would you believe it - it did. Keep those Thinking and Creative Learning Lights ablaze Room 2.
