Room 7 Nelson Intermediate School
Room 7 Nelson Intermediate School. Monday, 19 August 2013. Triangles Work: Tuesday/ Wednesday 20th/ 21st of August. I'm not sure when you will get to this work (Tuesday or Wednesday? But I want it up ready for you just in case. To be at the national standards for mathematics in fractions work you need to have a really good understanding of equivalent fractions and how to quickly identify them. Why? Because they help you then convert fractions to decimals and percentages really quickly which is important.
Room 7 Ohau School
Room 7 Ohau School. Monday, 10 August 2015. Last week on Friday we spent most of the day completing an art activity related to our Inquiry: Care, Nurture, Grow. We cared for our environment by recycling a plastic bottle, rather than throwing it away. A huge thank-you goes to Lucy, Nathan, Jess, Stacey and Manu who spent the day with us in order that we could complete the cutting, painting, drying and decorating of our plant holder. Thursday, August 12, 2010. It was time to make good choices and listen carefully, so we would not get burned while we were making candles. We were bursting with excitement as Mrs Adams was checking the role. Once the board will filled in we could head off up to the Picton Community Hall, next to the Creche. For the whole house. It usually went anywhere the Mum went, because she is always the one doing the work. We learned about the difference between dipping and casting candles. Friday, June 25, 2010.

Welcome to Room 7's Blog. Monday, 30 May 2016. Constable Pete visits Panama. TWe were so lucky to have Constable Pete and his partner Constable Cilla visit us today. He talked about what it means to be a leader. Fili was chosen to stand up the front and wear Constable Pete's special police vest. It was so heavy! It weighed 7 kilos! We called Fili Constable Fili!
