The Wonderful Room 7. And all our amazing learning so far. After weeks of practising at home we had our class poetry competition. All the students remembered their lines and were able to stand in front of our guest judge Jeanie and say their poem. Everyone did a wonderful job using clear voices, expression and some gestures. Well done to Emily, Evie and Keegan for being our our class winners. Watch the video below and help us learn all the words! He also came into our class and wrote some poems with us.

Friday, 14 August 2015. Zentangles and Starry Night. I am particularly proud of some of the recent art work in Room 7. The students have created their own van Gogh Starry Night painting. Their WALT ( We are learning to goal ) was to use a variety of brush strokes to achieve movement in the painting as Van Gogh had done. Sunday, 11 December 2016. Relaxing time in Karearea. We have been relaxing from all our panto practises by doing some yoga stories. Its a nice way to chill out from a long term's learning!
