Our Adoption Journey to #4. I feel like I should update but there really isn't anything to say. We are still waiting. Another week is almost over and we don't know anything new. I'm actually feeling pretty peaceful about it this week and I'm thankful for that - sometimes the peace and patience are hard to come by in this process. :). In an effort to be transparent and since we are doing some fundraising for this adoption, we wanted to share with you a breakdown of the fees - they are not due all at once. We have never shared it like this and thought it would be helpful but it is also really hard for us - we tend to be fairly private on these types of things. :). Application fee to BAAS - $500 (pd.). Homestudy Update - $1,200 (pd.). Due when Homestudy submitted - $1,750 (pd.). IA Specialist - $450 (pd.).
