Room 2 The Learning Station. Thursday, 20 March 2014. Matt, Mrs Hawkies grandson, chose a blue tongue lizard to be our class pet. Matt loved him so much he didn't want to give him away. However he decided that because Kikarangi was such a gentle friendly lizard he would let us have him. Mrs Hawkie thinks she may give him back when he gets too big! We need to be gentle. He kept still for a long time and we could all observe his features. Sharp little toes, cute eyes and his beautiful patterns.

Where is the bus? First stop is the rock pools. J found something but what is it? We can see a shell inside a shell. How can that be? This is us the wonderful Room 2 children. Lunch time at Ngamotu.
