Another example which evidently proves the influence of verbal cues is shown when a group of participants were told to predict the speed of the cars before they crashed/bumped/collided . Their predictions of the cars’ speed came out different as they heard different version of the verb. Hence, from this experiment we learnt that Reconstructed memories incorporated the verbal cues .
