Recipes you can Trust! June 29, 2014. 15 cup dosa rice. 1 handfull of urad dal. 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds(methi seeds). 1 cup paper poha(beaten rice). Toor dal – 1/4 tsp. 1 handfull of chana dal. Soak rice, methi seeds, urad dal, chana dal, toor dal in water for 3-4 hours. Grind to a smooth paste with washed poha. Ferment the batter for overnight. Before making dosa add salt. Also add water if needed to get dosa batter consistency. Make dosa with oil/ghee. Serve hot with any chutney or sambar.
