Monday, March 25, 2013. Day 12 - Amsterdam to America. Monday, March 25th. We landed in Amsterdam at 530am local time (730am Africa time and 1130pm Alabama time). After breakfast at McDonalds and Starbucks, Shayna and I got pedicures at the XpresSpa in the airport. So nice to clean up our feet after the dirt of South Sudan! We sat around Starbucks for several hours and played games, journaled, discussed the week and used the Internet. A few comments about future plans and Four Corners work in South Sudan:.

Thursday, March 21, 2013. Day 8 - Wiroh Clinic. Thursday, March 21st. Today we traveled to Wiroh, which took about 1 hour - 20 minutes on highway 1 and then the rest on off-road paths that were very bumpy and rocky. It was definitely off the beaten path! The men had left with our supplies at 5am so they could make the round trip and then come back to get us. Tonight was our last night at Buagyi, so we packed up everything before we went to bed. Saturday, December 3, 2011. I've rounded up some of my favorite all time Cooking gifts.whether I was the giver or recipient! Karen Davis - Spoon Maker. My Mom and I usually go to a couple of craft fairs and the 127 Yard Sale just to see Karen and her spoons! I have four of her pieces and LOVE them all! I seriously don't know what I cooked with before them! Her pieces are all hand made with wood she hand picks! I also love her different designs for right and left handed people. I chose a manly dark wood!

Thursday, December 1, 2011. Where did November go? I feel like it was just Fall and now we are heading straight into Winter! Here's my November 2011:. I was a vendor at the Middle School's career fair for Architecture and Construction! It was fun talking to the students about what I do! Fall Fun Night at Church with a hayride and Chili Cook off; I got second place! I went to the Christmas Village in Nashville with my cousin, Susan! We had a BLAST! My Husband and I attended 4 Thanksgivings!

Tuesday, September 27, 2011. This was my third excursion to the 127 yard sale. I had some good luck this year! I ended up mostly shopping and buying for others but that is just as much fun to me! Some of my finds will not be listed (they might be gifts)! Find #1 at the 1st stop of the day: Dunlap TN. A fellow from Northern Georgia had a tent full of cast iron, fishing rods, and odds and ends. And I also purchased a #8 griddle from him too. I got a great deal at both for $50. Find #2: Downtown Dunlap, TN.

Friday, March 22, 2013. Day 9 - Lanyi Clinic. Friday, March 22nd. Before we left the Buagyi compound we gave a few things to the family that had been staying there all week.
