After living back in Australia for almost 2 years and feeling rather settled in Melbourne I was beginning to think my over seas adventuring days were over so when I was required to take two weeks off for Christmas I told the family I was ditching Christmas and taking off to Thailand! Due to the lack of prep time I signed up for an Intrepid tour that would take me to the Islands and beaches of the west coast before I ventured off on my own for a few days. Food Plus food alley.

Tuesday, August 10, 2010. The Boardwalk on Hollywood Beach. A classic tourist information both! The beach was nice, wide and sandy not pebbles but to be honest I think Queensland beaches are more pristine, but hey 2 years away from the beach I wasn't complaining! Lunch at the pub! They're big fans of the old beach umbrella in Florida! This house is made out of CORAL! I'm guessing The Little Mermaid lives here. The little beach shacks reminded me of those that once stood on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts.

Sunday, April 11, 2010. On the Road in Ontario. So I am a few weeks late with this post, but life gets busy when the weather gets nice here in Toronto! The start of this lovely sunny streak started back on the Easter long weekend. Usually easter in Ontario is a long weekend of snow and below freezing temperatures. However this year we got a great start to spring with the prediction of sunny skies and up to 20 degrees! So I organised a road trip north just to see what was out there in big bad Ontario.

Saturday, August 22, 2009. Mischief in Phoenix and San Francisco! Well to be honest there wasn't much mischief in Phoenix as I actually went there for work.
