Roots and Petals.

There's the unseen and the seen —and both are equally beautiful. Thursday, June 7, 2012. Up until recently, I never understood it. I never understood how writing could be daunting. Writing frees the mind and expresses what we're passionate about. Something magical happens when words flow, and have a rhythm, and come to life. It's an extremely personal process. http://rootsandpetals.blogspot.com/2011/09/one-day-soon-these-fears-will-be-put-to.html

There's the unseen and the seen —and both are equally beautiful. Sunday, September 25, 2011. One day soon, these fears will be put to rest. Extinguished like a fire. Put out like time-out. Killed like a pesky fly. I only pray it happens before he comes-. Before I know he is coming. So that in You this heart may be blessed. The mind knows it is irrational to question. Not of You to buy the lie,. Because Your love is always enough. A process, though. And for that there is grace. And securing rather than.

There's the unseen and the seen —and both are equally beautiful. Sunday, September 18, 2011. In wandering, there is blessing. We all go through periods of wandering, and in regards to faith, it might be something we feel as though we know a little too. Well It comes at different times, and we usually try to avoid it like the plague, but inevitably, wandering happens because life happens. Plans still weren't panning out, when my. Him so I continued to wrestle with. And He is living. And He is intricately.

Roots and Petals.: March 2011

http://rootsandpetals.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

There's the unseen and the seen —and both are equally beautiful. Monday, March 28, 2011. This is probably the most blatantly candid I will ever be on this blog, but writing is the only way I can process. This shouldn't mean I allow it to take over me and stop trusting in the One who knows I am going to make it through just fine. And yes, more than fine. Everything, but it effects absolutely. The rest of my energy needs to go straight to the Lord, being thankful and content in Him and sure of His strength.

Roots and Petals.: February 2012

http://rootsandpetals.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

There's the unseen and the seen —and both are equally beautiful. Saturday, February 4, 2012. Finding joy in the little things is the best. This last week was insane. But I loved every minute of it. It helps that my classes this semester are rocking my world, and that by the time 80 minutes has passed, I haven't even batted an eyelash at the seemingly magnetic clock in the back of the room. Plus we just had fun. Yoga competitions.pizookies for 90, (well, 89.my now-vegan taste buds were. Every semester bri...

Roots and Petals.: February 2011

http://rootsandpetals.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

There's the unseen and the seen —and both are equally beautiful. Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Sometimes being a music major is the absolute hardest part of my day. I had a couple moments like that this last week. But then I go to places like my piano lesson, or have experiences like last night; where a choir, a family, can come together for recording week and put forth our absolute best efforts and our best attitudes and create an experience that is unbelievably beautiful. http://somethingrollender.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html

Sunday, September 29, 2013. This Crazy Thing Called Life. Im going into my third week of my internship this week! It has been crazy. Even though I am only going to school T/TH, I am still working at the school 18-20 hours a week, and at CPS 20-25 hours a week. So its proving to be busier than i had originally thought! Its a weird concept to grasp that I am basically working full time, but only getting paid for half of it. But that is why its an internship. Not a job :). I havent seen anything too crazy.

Something Rollender.: Our Break in AZ (via iphone)

http://somethingrollender.blogspot.com/2014/01/our-break-in-az-via-iphone.html

Friday, January 10, 2014. Our Break in AZ (via iphone). We love our AZ family. It was so nice to get away from the bitter cold in Idaho and soak up some Vitamin D :) Heres (some) of what we did over the 2 weeks we were there. I loved all the new traditions i got to be a part of this year! The Rollenders get matching PJ's on Christmas Eve. So, naturally, we all piled into the suburban on a QT run. The thing about the desert is that it gets really hot during the day, but cools off during the night! Haha -s...

Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Hi everyone:) guess who can blog on their phone now! So here's an update on the rollenders:. Winter semester in Idaho is COLD. We've had freezing temperatures resulting in power outages, snow storms causing accidents, and ice buildups that result in hilarious falls on our butts! Devin is off track this semester, which means he gets a break from school until April! Although, very exciting! Were living the dream out here in the tundra! It's crazy to think we've been married for...

Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Just a small something. So this video was included in the devotional speaker's talk today. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to attend a school that is flooding with the spirit of the Lord. I loved the speaker's message on relying on Heavenly Father through our trials-He truly is our Savior and redeemer. I know I definitely needed to be reminded of this simple message. Something Rollender.: November 2013

http://somethingrollender.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html

Thursday, November 7, 2013. Quick post about our Halloween fun. Devin and I are usually pretty laid back. But this year we got invited to a Pirate-themed Mystery Party. I was reluctant to go, because, really! But my wonderful husband convinced me and we threw our costumes together in 5 days. Anyways, it was a night full of betrayal, love, and downright scandal. I think my favorite part was watching how into it Devin got. Also Ive never worn red lipstick before. And I gotta say, it's fun! Sister Katie in ...

Something Rollender.: December 2013

http://somethingrollender.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html

Tuesday, December 17, 2013. Last Saturday I had the opportunity to co-spearhead a Toy Drive for our local foster kids in the Rexburg area. My friend and fellow intern, Erik, and I volunteered to put it on as a service to our internship at Child Protection. We spent hours cutting out little Christmas Trees and snowmen-each had a real. Foster kid (that we know and love)'s gender and age on them. We got volunters to do 2 hours shift from 9am-5pm. The day of, Erik took the morning and I took the afternoon.

Discovering Mrs. Abby Fisher. A great big headline to catch some attention. By ten o'clock the police organisation, and by midday even the railway organisations, were losing coherency, losing shape and efficiency, guttering, softening, running at last in that swift liquefaction of the social body.
