Sunday, 26 July 2015. Recent Cross Stitch projects. Having acquired a MASSIVE load of coloured yarn from my Nana, I decided to try using up some of it on some cross stitch! It's been lovely to have so many lovely colours to choose from. These are some experiments that I designed and sewed myself, simply drawing them out onto the fabric using a fabric pen, and for the more complicated chevron one I used some squared paper to draw out my design. Monday, 29 September 2014. Cute little air plants. Whilst visiting the Eden Project last week I bought some super cute Airplants (Tillandsias) as I have wanted some of them for ages! You can buy them online as well, from lovetillys. I planted one in a vintage Hornsea egg cup (I had wanted to find a use for these for a while! And one in a latte bowl from Anthropologie. Then I put some pebbles I had collected from the beach around them, super :). Tuesday, 2 September 2014. All part of it's charm haha.

Friday, 5 December 2014. Compass and circles abstract prints. My latest series of hand-pulled screen prints features brightly coloured circles overlaid with an image of a victorian pair of compasses from my ever useful book of victorian images. Friday, 8 May 2015. Ampersand and Victorian Keys Screen Prints. Last week I went to Marshfield Screen Print. Near Bath and used their lovely facilities to print my latest batch of prints. Tuesday, 12 August 2014. New A5 Vintage Style Screen Prints. I've been working for a while on these prints and finally they are complete! I have 2 finished prints so far, a collection of 3 egg cups and a little oil or vinegar jug, both in Hornsea Heirloom pattern. Thursday, 29 January 2015. Mother's day Spring hanging decorations. Lately I have been creating these pretty Mother's Day/Easter/Spring gift hanging decorations. I chose some fabrics and made flowers from then, then decorated the rest of the wreaths using coordinating ribbons, buttons, lace, fabrics and ricrac. Each decoration measures 20cm (8") in diameter and has a pretty coordinating bow and ribbon attached with which to hang it in your home! They are currently available from my Folksy shop here.

Saturday, 1 August 2015. I've done a few craft and country markets/fayres lately so I thought I'd post up some pics of my stalls. Below is Nunney Fayre which I went to today (it did get busier than in the pic! Which was great, lots of compliments on my work and met some lovely people. I always like Nunney Fayre because it's popular with local people and visitors alike, though I think it always rains there. Also there is a Castle, which is cool (you can see it in the background).
