I love September in Colorado I think it’s my favorite month. The weather is almost always great, plenty of sun and warm temps allow for big days in the mountains and on the rocks. It’s also the perfect time to climb 14’ers in the Elk’s, Crestones, and Blanca ranges. These guys always seem to be around in the afternoon.

Tuesday, February 8, 2011. We had a wonderful time in Ouray last week, despite the first two day of record breaking cold temperatures and the foot of new snow that came as well. The Ouray Ice Park is one of the best venues in the world to learn to ice climb. Every grade is well represented and the social aspect and ability to watch world class climbers and guides is simply unmatched. Well in the past week I have gone Ski Touring, bouldering, Ice Climbing, Rock Climbing, and a bit of winter mountaineering.And none of it was that good haha (grin) We need some more snow but right now I'm just enjoying the cold bluebird colorado days.
