Sunday, 14 June 2009. Down to Cornwall and into the water again. Before I disappear for the next six months to start my job as Island Caretaker on the Great Barrier Reef there are a few important people in my life I had to see before leaving the UK's. Shores. Over the past few years a number of friends have left Hampshire and headed west to relocate in Devon and Cornwall and when you get down there you can understand why! Still loaded and prepared from last weekend's exploits up in Scotland at the LAMM.

Is situated in the heart of Ropley village on the edge of the beautiful South Downs and nearby to the Georgian town of Alresford in Hampshire. Children attend from Ropley, Alresford, Bramdean and the surrounding villages and go on to attend both local state and private schools. We welcome children from 2 years 9 months. We offer sessions Monday to Friday 9.00-12pm, with an optional Lunch Club until 1pm*. Sports Day 16th June 2015.

Joining the Ropley Society. Welcome to The Ropley Society Website. Here to enhance and protect the Community of Ropley, Monkwood and West Tisted. The Ropley Society was formed in 1985 and in its early years fought the planned construction of the largest grain silos in Europe on the west of the village, in Monkwood. The remit since that time has extended to encompass a wider vision as demonstrated by our aims. Enhance a community spirit by working with other organisations who share a common cause.

Many people feel that they have no say over what development takes place in their community; but Village Design Statements (VDSs) offer a constructive solution to this dilemma. Ropley now has an approved Village Design Statement. This can be downloaded from the Download section of this website.
