Rose and Andy's travels. Tuesday, 31 May 2011. This weekend we were invited by Yoshi and Maasa to go to a Harley bike show. Yoshi owns a garage and renovates old Harleys, he was exhibiting three bikes in the show. We drove to Kumamoto and were greated by thousands of denim/black t shirt clad bikers. We felt far too clean and uncool. We decided to minglein the crowds. The bikes were pretty awesome, i think i am a convert! Yoshi won a prize for his chopper! Anyway here are some pics. Looking for sea bass! The elusive sea bass! Andy and Dennis spent Friday afternoon, in the rain spinning for sea bass in a secret location on the isle of wight. But this is the best we could do! Rose and Andy's travels. Friday, 6 May 2011. We spent the next four nights at Roses grandparents house in a small town called Soeda. The plan was to give us a break from the hectic citys. When we got there however, Hurn insisted that we climb the local mountain. Its called Hikosan and is 1200m high. Needless to say it was a hot day! After about five minutes Martin asked us if it was actually a joke. It was a tough start. However we all made it and felt a good sense of achievement. A few more bike rides.
