How to find us. How to find us. Rosebud Foreshore, Jetty Road. End of Jetty Rd., Rosebud Foreshore. It’s less than an hour’s drive from Melbourne to visit our fun family festival. In Melways: 158 E11. View Rosebud Kite Festival. In a larger map. Take the Frankston Line Train to it’s terminus at Frankston Station (approx 40 mins). Then you will need to take the #788 Portsea Passenger Bus via Mornington alighting at the rosebud Villiage Stop. From there you can walk to the foreshore at Jetty Rd end.

WEBSITE DESIGN and BUILD. Worthy Creative were approached by the Rosebud Chamber of Commerce to design and build a website for their award winning Kite Festival on the foreshore at Rosebud. It was designed with a family fun focus, integrated with a facebook page and Content Management System(CMS). The website went through a re-design after 2013 festival and our new site can be viewed by clicking the link just below. New Website: www.rosebudkitefestival.com.au. Rosebud Kite Festival Feed. Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March 2014. Held on the Labour Day weekend in March each year, Sunday is the main family festival. The Saturday session has been introduced to allow kite enthusiasts to get up close to the experts, when they can see them between 10am and 1pm on the foreshore, and get close to both the kites and the flyers. Sunday is the main festival with activities starting at 11am and going through to 5pm.
