September 05, 2013. After spending three month working in Frankfurt, I returned home to prepare myself for my herbalist exam. It will take place on the 13th and 14th of September. For my final project, I decided to dye wool with wildflowers, a very nice and satisfying experience, full of surprises. Recently, I attended a workshop about herbs (old knowledge, preparation, recipes, cultural background) which will take until September, 2013. -Every month, our group meets for two days. As a result of this, I will have to make a herbarium. Instead of pressing flowers, I decided to paint them. I started with Chelidonium majus, Schöllkraut in German or greater celandine,. We cycled 4 to 5 hours every day, and there is no better way to experience a landscape than cycling.We met friendly people everywhere and got wonderful meals in the evenings. I had fun, but "illustration" means something different as "watercolour". This is my second IF post. so welcome. its very pretty. water colour is an illustartion media.no? Love the colors used. Watercolor birds are just about my favorite. And, yes, water color is certainly an illustration medium! I really like the multicolored leaves. The details on the bird are great!

July 3, 2010. We startet our vacation by driving to South Tyrol via the Reschen mountain pass. The Reschen lake is artificial and buried a whole village, Graun, when in 1950 the area was flooded. Only the church steeple can be seen today and reminds of the old village of Graun. They build a new village nearby, but they say that the old inhabitants of Graun are still suffering from the loss of their homes. This is amazing Claudia. Thanks for sharing.
