It's hard to believe our trip is just days away! We're are all looking forward very much to seeing Gogo. We'll do our best to update with lots of pictures throughout the trip. Long time no post - we've been busy! Dad's back at work, and Harry has started Auditory Skills therapy with a Speech and Language Pathologist, and is generally crawling all over the place. Busy weekend in our household! Saturday morning started off with an awards ceremony - Harry won a bronze medal at Math Kangaroo. He was so excited to receive it. And Vovo was excited to see his "dad's" name up on the screen! Harry was more excited about the walkie-talkies, though. We may have driven people crazy with them on our shopping trip, with lots of, "This is awesome! We also got to buy some manure to do some gardening - including the tomato seedling Harry planted at Jr. Research League.

Baseball season has begun! It's Harry's first team sport! We went to the skills evaluation on Saturday - the children will be divided up into eight teams based on a fair distribution of strengths and weaknesses. He aquitted himself fairly well at these tryouts! The pics are a little blurry (as always) but if you look closely, you can just see the ball landing in his glove. Posted @ 1:23 PM. April 2, 2011 · 5:28 pm. That sounded really yum. It just needed a few simple modifications to up the nutrition points. Crazy Monkey Muffins (Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Muffins). 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. 1 1/4 cup organic whole wheat flour. 1/4 cup white sugar. 1/2 cup packed brown sugar. 1 tbsp baking powder. 1 or 2 or 3 shakes of cinnamon powder. 4 overly ripened bananas, mashed. 1 cup skim milk. 3/4 cup reduced fat creamy peanut butter. 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil. 1 tsp vanilla extract.
