I'd love to write more, but I seem to just run out of time. I know I have the same amount of time as everyone else, I just need to decide how I use it. How do I use my time. I love the fact that a cherish the time I spend with our 3 year old! There is no place for people like this or dogs off lead who want to tear you to shreds!

My running adventures! : Sports carnival today
http://maryannegb.blogspot.com/2013/09/sports-carnival-today.html
I love to run. Read on for my highs, lows, fast and slow running sessions. Wednesday, September 4, 2013. Today my running post is all about Mr 8! Today was his athletics carnival at school. He came 5th in the 50m, 2nd in the 200m and he ran in a relay with children a year older than him and his team placed third! I am one proud mummy tonight! I am proud of how well he went, but I am even more proud of the way he congratulated fellow peers and cheered other children on in their races! Once Upon a (L)ime.

My running adventures! : April 2012
http://maryannegb.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
I love to run. Read on for my highs, lows, fast and slow running sessions. Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Tomorrow I have my next physiotherapy appointment - I think she is going to be suitably impressed. each time I go I am prescribed a new challenge and each time I achieve this with flying colours. They are challenges because at the appointment I initially struggle to done repetition, and by the time I return after hard work and dedication I can perform 3 sets of 20 reps. Sunday, April 15, 2012. As well as h...

My running adventures! : So much to tell you.......
http://maryannegb.blogspot.com/2013/06/so-much-to-tell-you.html
I love to run. Read on for my highs, lows, fast and slow running sessions. Sunday, June 2, 2013. So much to tell you. Here I am with some of the fellow runners from my coaching tem just prior to the start of the HBF Run for a Reason last weekend. This was my debut race and I LOVED it. I had a plan from my coach to run the race at an average pace of 5.35/5.40 mins/km, but overall I raced at 5.34 pace and finished in 66.51! VERY happy with my time. There were over 29,000 runners and walkers on the day!

My First Swim (In Six Years)
http://www.twentysixandthensome.com/2011/10/12/my-first-swim-in-six-years
Twenty-Six and Then Some. Digital Dudette on The Run. October 12, 2011. My First Swim (In Six Years). October 12, 2011. Read all about it! Other loud and obnoxious phrases! I have an urgent news message. Ladies and gentlemen, this is a big freaking deal. I, Page Spicer Williams, put on an actual bathing suit that is used for exercise purposes only (that is so old I used in college), a red, white and blue swim cap, goggles that still had the stickers on it, and jumped in the pool for a swim workout. The w...

Genetically Challenged Athlete: The great escape: some easy Hong Kong hikes
http://genechallenged.blogspot.com/2015/01/the-great-escape-some-easy-hong-kong.html
Thursday, January 29, 2015. The great escape: some easy Hong Kong hikes. Day 1 - High Junk Peak. Since December J has been back Stateside to spend Christmas and New Year with his family, and get settled in to his new lab/ grad programme, so I've been flying solo since then while waiting (and waiting, and waiting, and waitingggg) for my spouse visa. (Which, frankly, leaves me in a pickle: how do I clean my ceiling fan and change the kitchen light bulb that's on the fritz? Part of Hong Kong is way. Message...

Genetically Challenged Athlete: What not to wear, pregnancy edition
http://genechallenged.blogspot.com/2015/02/what-not-to-wear-pregnancy-edition.html
Sunday, February 8, 2015. What not to wear, pregnancy edition. Ok, here's a frivolous little post. What do you wear to a friend's very large, rather posh wedding dinner. When you are 6 months pregnant. And have shipped most of your clothing anyway? If a penguin suit and cummerbund can accommodate Pavarotti's belly WHY NOT MINE? So here is a quick guide to my workout wear, pregnancy edition. For running, I wear:. I wish I hadn't tossed out my ratty old old-school nylon running shorts a year or two ago (I'...

Genetically Challenged Athlete: Race report: the Great Eastern Women's 5K
http://genechallenged.blogspot.com/2014/11/race-report-great-eastern-womens-5k.html
Saturday, November 29, 2014. Race report: the Great Eastern Women's 5K. So way back when in a fit of post-marathon enthusiasm, I signed up for the Great Eastern Women's Run half marathon, hoping to train really hard towards a sub-2-hour half (. AND it's really solidly well-organised every year. (How well-organised? At that point, the thought of being on my feet for two and a half hours was sounding less and less appealing, and the thought of handing over my precious, seriously. I know the rules say you d...
