Muses along the way...: April 2006

Muses along the way. Ever notice the subtle cultural differences around us? That which we consider weird, different, or even corny. But turn it around, from someone elses point of view, there are also quirks in our cultures that we take for granted too! Let's see if I can spot some of them as I travel across the continents. Sunday, April 30, 2006. Nature: Born to be in fashion. This, I bet is the grossest pouch I have ever seen. Posted by Kurios1978 @ 8:02 PM. Friday, April 28, 2006. Quote by Vincent Tan.

"Kanji in Context": discuss_jlpt
http://discuss-jlpt.livejournal.com/4986.html
Has anyone here studied from the book Kanji in Context. I've decided to use this book, and I bought the workbooks for it, but do I absolutely need. The reference book for it? It's kind of expensive. but if it helps to have then I'll buy it. Also, if you have any advice on how to study kanji, please post it! I'm planning on taking JLPT 1kyu next year, so I need all the advice that I can get! Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post.

お疲れさまです!: discuss_jlpt

Curious about anyone else who took 2kyu. How do you think you did? I found the kanji to be far easier than i'd expected. the only ones i remember having issues with were 方法、努力、支配、and the question about the flock of birds making a circle (丸、円、輪). but i'm sure there were others. I was just proud to keep pace with all of the Chinese girls in the room. The reading. REM sleep? I thought that one was really difficult, especially in comparison to the girl's diary, and the telephone conversation. We will log you...

1kyuu: discuss_jlpt
http://discuss-jlpt.livejournal.com/5863.html
I'm taking 1kyuu again this year. I was close to passing last year. If I improve my kanji and vocab, I think I have a good chance of passing this time. Right now I'm studying with the Tuttle Kanji Cards and using speedanki.com, and just reading Japanese newspaper articles as often as possible. I'll be taking the test in Okayama. Who's planning to take it this year, where, what level, and how are you studying? Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post.
