June 7, 2015. June 7, 2015. First stop: Burmingham, England. Even though we are from Northern Califirnia, we caught a plane from Ontario in southern CA to London, with a layover in Dallas (because it was a great deal). Both girls acted like true veteran travelers, which they are. Tim and I couldn’t have asked for an easier time with them. From Heathrow we rented a car and drove to Birmingham where my youngest sister, Felicity, and her husband, James live. The car rental place took sooo. Said no one ever.

Here We Go Again. May 27, 2015. After a hectic last week of work and play (job interview, camping, cleaning house, grading, a drive to LA and packing for four), we are about to embark on another big European adventure. First stop: Birmingham, England, to see the Larson sisters in situ. And maybe, possibly, hopefully, enjoy a little rain. And a nice pint o’bitters and some strong English tea.
