The church of St Gerasimos, the patron saint of Kefalonia. Here followeth a brief history lesson! Melissani lake. We were rowed a...

Rosie's ramblings: August 2010

http://rosiesramblings-rosie.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Sunday, 22 August 2010. Day Trip to Bath. A couple of weeks ago I decided to take myself off to Bath in Somerset. I'd been told it's a lovely city, steeped in history, and as it's only a 90 minute train ride from Paddington, I thought I'd treat myself! My main reason for visiting bath was to see the Roman baths, built by the Romans on the site of the only hot springs in Britain. I like this view from inside the baths as you can also see the Cathedral. (Another thing on my list for next time.). This is th...

Rosie's ramblings: July 2010

http://rosiesramblings-rosie.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 14 July 2010. My travels in Europe. Quite a few people have asked about my recent travels with my bf on his motorbike, so I decided to do this blog! It was going to be quite a long one, but due to recent events over the last 3 weeks I got a bit disenchanted with it, so I decided to just cut it down to pictures and a bit less text! Day 1 Dover to Mulhouse (France). Day 2 Mulhouse to Chioggia. Asked if we had a ticket (ie a vignette), we said no and were told very sharply "Over there! The AA rou...

Sunday, January 8, 2012. Happy Birthday Little Brother. Happy Birthday, Little Brother! I know I can no longer send you a card or call you to wish you a Happy Birthday, but that doesn't stop me from thinking about you and remembering all the birthdays I have had the privilege of having you in my life. I've spent a lot of time lately looking at old family photos and found a few that reflect our brother - sister relationship. Rosie's Random Playlists

After much encouragement from friends &colleagues Ive decided to create a place that I can share my favorite new artists, upcoming concert dates, and my own musical predictions. Really this is designed to help people who hate Top 40 radio, are tired of the songs they grew up with and want to hear something new! I hope that even if you have a bad day, some posting on here can make you smile, I truly believe music heals all and maybe youll be amused by my witty commentary:). Thursday, November 28, 2013.
