Monday, March 22, 2010. Lyla was blessed in church yesterday and she looked beautiful! Josh did a great job, and she was awake during the blessing, but very content just looking around at all the men holding her. We had lots of family there and feel very blessed to have such a wonderful supportive family. Here she is in her dress, which was bought by Grandma R. Our new little family of three! Here is all of the family that came! This is all the men that were in the circle. And proud first-time Uncle Derek.

Monday, August 1, 2011. Backpacking - Dark Canyon. Dark Canyon is located near Lake Powell. We backpacked in and slept in a huge cave in the side of the mountain. We passed scorpions, rattlesnakes, and slept with bats. We spent 5 days exploring, cliff jumping, and climbing. We stopped at Goblin Valley on the way.
