I put an offer on a flat yesterday and it's been accepted so I'm now going to be in debt for the next 25 years! The flat is 108,000 (was 110,000 but I beat the price down! Monday, August 07, 2006. Manchester, monday night. Another week, another Premier Travel Inn. God these places are dire, so bloody faceless and sterile, with a plastic pub (Brewer's Fayre! Sellotaped to the side. The thing is it's in a really nice part of Manchester, I had to drive past all these plush hotels and golf clubs to get here and I end up in a plasterboard palace. So, having enjoyed a cheese and onion pasty and a couple of bottles of Stella (thanks Pad! More news soon, pass it on!

Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Only 8 weeks to go! No I've not travelled back in time, this is another trip to Colombia. Almost all sorted now. The plan so far is: Fly out on the 24th of May with Air Comet. Via Madrid and arrive in Bogota the same night, if you've not heard of Air Comet, think of them as a long haul EasyJet! We'll be staying in Bogota with Marcela's family between then and the 29th when we fly up to Cartagena. For the first 5 nights we'll be staying at the Decameron hotel on Isla Palma.

Friday, July 28, 2006. 2 Weeks to go! There's just over 2 weeks to go until my trip to Colombia and everything's booked. I've had all my injections and I've started to buy everything I need. I fly out with Delta Airlines early on Sunday the 13th from Gatwick via Atlanta and arrive Sunday evening in Bogotá. Where I'll meet my girlfriend, we'll then spend Sunday night in the Radisson Royal Hotel Bogota. At the Decalodge Ticuna. And the next 2 are going to be spent in the Parque Natural Amacayacu.
