Ross Lamond: July 2015
http://rosslamond.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Monday, 27 July 2015. Climate Change, Global Warming and Energy. Climate change and global warming issues are constantly bandied around in the media as they should be. The unknowns they create may overwhelm us. But, the fortunate ones amongst us will adjust and use their mobility to ensure they aren't any worse off. Wednesday, 22 July 2015. A Take on Five Element Balance. Itself. It quenches wood. Passing by in the Clarence River really is water and is controlled by the rivers earth. The firebox is made ...

Ross Lamond: August 2015
http://rosslamond.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Friday, 28 August 2015. Transporting Ourselves into Surroundings of Energy of our Creation. I’ve been transporting my thoughts from those Chi related energies to energy in its broader meaning such as those which can be harnessed and measured. The energy of movement and heat for example drive the functioning of our surroundings. I’m suggesting we could build our surroundings to include those forms of energy that cannot be measured and marry them to those that can be measured; a union of energies and...

Ross Lamond: May 2015

Wednesday, 20 May 2015. The Garden and Two Forms of Chi. The garden can be broken into two forms of Chi. Firstly, Chi representing the manmade, formal parts of a garden such as arbours, gazebo’s, linear pathways, rigid garden beds, formalised pondage and the like. More or less rigid defining elements. Diversity adds to the profusion of beneficial Chi. Thursday, 14 May 2015. Climate and Garden Design. My neighbour at Brushgrove was discussing the landscaping around his recently renovated home in Brisbane ...

Ross Lamond: Energies of our Surroundiongs
http://rosslamond.blogspot.com/2015/08/energies-of-our-surroundiongs.html
Monday, 3 August 2015. Energies of our Surroundiongs. I’m convinced more than ever, our health in part is conditioned by the energies of our surroundings. We relate and attach to them. Maybe within a bedroom, kitchen, veranda or garden; for each part of our surroundings has its own distinctive energy base and those energies transpire to join with us. I’ve noticed through the review of my books and recent blogs, I’ve been revaluating my relationship to Chi. I think I’m beginning to u...You could test the ...

Ross Lamond: October 2014
http://rosslamond.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, 16 October 2014. Connectedness in the Garden. I’m presently reviewing and converting my eight gardening books for print. Coming back to them after a fifteen month break. What a difference a day makes! The one I’m reviewing at present is Connectedness in the Garden which I produced as an adjunct to Connections to the Earth (my book about drift to cities and technological innovation taking us away from the dirt under our feet, and the Earth.). For connectedness is so personal, a one on one thing&...

Ross Lamond: September 2014
http://rosslamond.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, 27 September 2014. Chi Flow in the Garden. I was recently asked, do I need masses of vegetation to encourage auspicious Chi flow within my garden? But Chi flow can be enhanced by other means. Borrowed scenery enhances Chi flow. Borrowing a vista like a mountain range, stream, pond or lake broaden the context of the garden space. Just try to tack on such features as part of the garden. Saturday, 13 September 2014. Places like Phnom Penh in Cambodia tinker a half dozen or so things of interest.

Ross Lamond: A Take on Five Element Balance
http://rosslamond.blogspot.com/2015/07/a-take-on-five-element-balance.html
Wednesday, 22 July 2015. A Take on Five Element Balance. Sitting beside an open fire on the gazebo at Brushgrove on a cold evening and thinking Five Element Balance of Feng Shui parlance is amplified by fire. Itself. It quenches wood. Passing by in the Clarence River really is water and is controlled by the rivers earth. Embankments. These are real things and gets one thinking about Five Element Balance and the remaining element of metal. Something to search for, I guess. View my complete profile.

Ross Lamond: January 2015
http://rosslamond.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Friday, 23 January 2015. I was half watching an ABC breakfast television show recently and picked up the end of a conversation between the presenters and a lady who was talking about mindfulness. My mind was elsewhere so I missed the storyline. Great student I am! Monday, 12 January 2015. Connectedness and Chi, the Energy of a Place. Saturday, 3 January 2015. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ross Lamond: Energy, Chi Flow and Sustainability Are One
http://rosslamond.blogspot.com/2015/08/energy-chi-flow-and-sustainability-are.html
Friday, 14 August 2015. Energy, Chi Flow and Sustainability Are One. Energy, Chi flow and sustainability are one. I jotted down this heading early one morning and was too lazy to put anymore to paper. It’s easier to ponder than get out of a warm bed. Waking up and thinking about the heading, I felt it meant something (too me anyway). A Brushgrove river scene about dawn. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ross Lamond: A Take on Five Element Balance
http://rosslamond.blogspot.com/2015/08/a-take-on-five-element-balance.html
Wednesday, 12 August 2015. A Take on Five Element Balance. A Buddha image seems quiet content in this location. I suggest we can benefit by understanding something of the relationship between these five elements as they interact with each other and how we relate to them. For example, if we build a place where the five elements play out a game of building and enhancing, we can benefit from their embalming energy; a rising energy and promoting the perpetuity of that thing we call, ‘life’. Energy of the land.
