Friday, June 5, 2009. Here are a few memories from our trip to Houston. We stayed at a lovely resort called Seven Coves on Lake Conroe just north of the Houston area. We had a relaxing, enjoyable and interesting times dealing with rush hour traffic. These added up to a very nice trip. Erin and Nate enjoyed the challenge of the obstacle course and especially the slide. We visited the Houston Temple and walked around the beautiful grounds. We visited the Houston Aquarium and enjoyed the sights and rides.

Here's what's happening in our life. February 13, 2009- I joined new and old friends (Melissa, Lorri, Debbie, Lucy and Barbara) for the "Women With Bait" Steelhead Fishing Tournament! Here are a few snapshots. Time to take a break to warm up! The gang's all here (including our trusty boat driver, Tony)! Here's the little trout (and sadly, the only fish) I caught.but it could have been a minnow and I would have been happy. I was just happy to yell "fish on! Here I am, fishing off the bow of the boat.

Here's what's happening in our life. BBQ at Nate and Tami's. June 22, 2008-. We enjoyed a barbeque at Nate and Tami's (on Sunday June 22). The storm that blew through the night before brought some very pleasant (milder) temperatures and we all had a great time visiting outside after dinner since the weather wasn't unbearably hot. A Tribe of Sox! Life is not about waiting for the storm to end. It is about learning to dance in the rain! Tuesday, April 26, 2011. We love the Northwest! Back in March we decided to take a little drive over to Vancouver to see our great friends, the Allen's! They are always so much fun and welcoming and we sure know how to party when we get together! It was rainy but the green trees and mountain scenes were amazing and refreshing after the horrible Idaho February! And like always we ate way too much!
