Local Students Attend RYLA. This weekend the Jackson Rotary Club sponsored 4 local students to attend RYLA at Camp ASCCA in Jackson's Gap, AL. RYLA stands for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards which is sponsored by Rotary District 6880. It consists of teens from all across Central and Lower Alabama who come together for one weekend. Clarke-Washington Fair, Special Needs Day.

El día 13 de octubre de 1976 se realizaba la primera reunión para formar un nuevo Rotary club, dicha reunión se efectuaba en el local comercial de Benjamín Ferreiro, cito en la intersección de la avenida Gral. Flores con la calle Guarapirú. Se llevaron a cabo cuatro reuniones consecutivas semanales, se integraron al grupo inicial, Pellegrino Santucchi y del club padrino Luis Casaballe.
