Time to ride!: Maui, Hawaii on a budget
http://stefan-rothe.blogspot.com/2015/04/maui-hawaii-on-budget.html
Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Maui, Hawaii on a budget. We decided back in February to do a "late Spring Break" our own and head to Maui, HI. For some vacation but also to bring and ride our bikes. Most of us think about Hawaii and imagine a tropical island, beaches, the ocean and scuba diving, fresh fruit with the cost of expensive resorts, expensive dining and a hefty airfare. Here are a few ways to save yourself some money and still have a great vacation:. Pack your bike in a box/bag which meets airline r...

Time to ride!: March 2012
http://stefan-rothe.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 8, 2012. Yet another Walburg Classic and Pace Bend Road Race. Historically, the Walburg Classic and Pace Bend. Road Race in the Austin area have been the season opener for road racing in Texas. Deep fields in the Pro/1 race with a good bunch of riders from Texas and out-of-state make for a challenging weekend in late February. Besides a smaller “training” race in Dallas the other weekend, it’s also the first time we get to race together as a team in the new season. Thursday, March 1, 2012.

Time to ride!: February 2014
http://stefan-rothe.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 6, 2014. From Within: Tour of New Braunfels RR. February 2nd, it's early in the year, it's cold (40F), you haven't raced a road race for 4 month and yet still - it's time to pin on that number and get that first race of the season out of the way and into your legs. After a good "winter" with a good mix of Cyclocross, strength training, and road riding I took a little (forced) break right after TX State CX Champs. On my new Specialized Tarmac SL4. Tour of New Braunfels was no different&...

I attacked just as they called it and I bridged up to Peter, to capture the Prime.$ $. At the time they were driv...

Monday, June 11, 2012. An "original Okie" - teamate and superman/dad Chad Cagle is kinda big here in Tulsa. Since the first time Chris. And the guys in Tulsa put on that race in 2006 I've been coming back every year. The 7th time now for me. And it gets better every year. The competition, the crowd, the support/involvement of the local community, and - of course - the payout. We ( Team Tulsa Tough. Time to ride!: October 2012

Friday, October 26, 2012. Product Review: ROL Wheels. Since 2 years I’ve been training and competing using wheels made by ROL Wheels. ROL 58 Carbon Tubular. The ROL 58 Tubies are my standard “go-to” wheel when I do road races or fast, technical crits. At 58mm they’re aerodynamic but still not too deep for the Texas wind. Mine have a set of in-house 3D forged ROL alloy hubs, Sapim spokes, and a basic 58mm carbon rim. Carbon 58 all blacked out. Only shows it's true decals with flash at night! 240 Hubs and ...
