Frivolous banter about life. A humorous look at Indian, American and Indian American culture. At the receiver’s end. When we bought our receiver a year ago, the first thing I did was to study the back of the receiver carefully. It took me half an hour to figure out that I was holding it up side down. Not that it made much sense the right side up. For the curious, the backside of the receiver looks somewhat like this:. May 29, 2009. Responses to “At the receiver’s end”. Feed for this Entry. the papaya factor: June 2009

Being a rambling of books, movies, food and random events in a papaya's life. Review: North and South. Rating: 5 / 5. I'm almost ashamed to say that I have not come across Elizabeth Gaskell before. The only reason I stumbled across her work was because of that wonderful entity-the BBC mini-series. What I watched convinced me I would appreciate the written work. Mr Hale soon informs his family that he is giving up his position as a clergyman to be a tutor in a cotton manufacturing town to the north of Eng...

Being a rambling of books, movies, food and random events in a papaya's life. Rating: 2 / 5. Is the 8th book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series. Let's get this out of the way first, shall we. Read this book only if you have read the rest of the series. It could be read standalone, but a lot of the complicated relationships are clearer if you go in order. So my Grandma was right all the way. Snippets from my life. Girls should NOT speak loudly. Rebuked my grandma every time I started a conversation. I accused her of being very partial and unfair. She shook her head wisely and said ". Your voice is bound to shoot up by several decibels once you have a baby, so practise speaking softly. Maybe grandma is right. Is what I thought when I, along with another friend went to meet H. Now, permit a little digression, dear reader-. Guess he kicked his shoe off.

There's something supremely satisfying. Out came the rolling pin, the biscuit cutter and the oven trays, and the biscuits got baked at 180 deg c, for 15 minutes. (ofcourse I had to pre-heat the oven). Since cocoa tastes bitter, and I was a bit doubtful if the sugar I've added would be enough to counter it, I sprnkled some sugar when the biscuits were still warm. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Snippets from my life. Theres something supremely satisfying. Books, Life n More. To the wind and the trees.

The Gift - Cecelia Ahern. I haven't read Cecelia Ahern's more popular PS I love you. Occasionally, reading the gist of some books seem sufficient to me. Also, sometimes for no particular reason, I don't read books/authors which I. Finds the efficiency and agility of Gabe intimidating. Its almost like Gabe is omnipresent. Till this point the book seemed promising. Gabe seeks to help Lou double up (literally) by offering him some pills so he could satisfy his family, while being there at office as well....
