Visiting Iglesias, Italy. December 27, 2016. There are moments where I close my eyes and I can still see this beautiful Spanish town on the Italian island of Sardinia. Traditionally a mining town, there is a different vibrancy in the town than anything I found elsewhere in Sardinia. I started off with a short 45 minute train ride from Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia. To this day I have no idea what this represented, but watching these umbrellas blow up and down the street was an unforgettable experience.
