Friday, 3 June 2011. Well hello blog. I'm back again! Feeling the need to put stuff out there, but not too quickly 'out there' as it would be posting on Stalkbook. A couple of acquaintances have been following a 30 day song challenge on afore-referenced social network. I like the idea, but didn't like a few of the daily challenges. Sunday, 25 January 2009. Underground, overground, wombling free. My next stop on Mull was Tobermory, for a day and a night. As well as being known for its whisky (which I confess to finding a bit rough round the edges) Tobermory is now quite famous for a current children’s programme filmed there, call Balamory. It is an exquisite wee seaside village, where any fool with a camera can take their own postcard-perfect pics, as it is sooo photogenic. Which is how Bungo got his name….”. Early autumn colours;.

Saturday, 4 June 2011. Following on from day 1, day 2 would of course be your least favourite song. A ready excuse for a tirade against cheesy pop, whiney country, or whatever else gets your cloven-hoofed ruminant of choice. But for me, seeing as I can't really put down 'anything heard from the exterior of someone else's headphones playing at high volume on public transport' I will put down something that gets me and gets to me, but I wish it didn't. Monday, 8 December 2008. Deep peace of the running waves to you. But there was more risk of getting a drenching from the odd wave washing over the boat. The swell made the trip as fun as an amusement park ride, although I did feel sorry for the 3 or 4 poor passengers who were seasick. We held our breath as our ancient mariner brought the boat round to the landing. He decided it was safe, but that we could only have 45 minutes as the wind and waves were picking up. Success!
