November | Our Roving Friends
http://www.rovingfriends.org/november
My name is November and I am fortune teller. I’ll play you some tunes and tell you some fortunes too. Leave me a comment below and I may send you some more tunes from time to time. My cover is made from a poster produced by Steve Plowright. These are the tunes that I know. Any chance that you know the name of the unknown tune? A strathspey written by Donald Shaw as a tribute to Calum MacLeod, an inhabitant of the isle of Raasay who took ten years to hand-build a road to his remote croft on the island.

I hope you enjoy these bonus tracks; works in progress and new tunes that I have might have recorded since your particular roving friend came into the world. O’Carolan’s Concerto (Turlough O’Carolan). I’ve always loved this tune and wanted to learn to play it. Still very much a work in progress, but hope that you enjoy where I’ve got to so far. This is also my first attempt to record with the Carolan Guitar. Leave a Reply x. Your email address will not be published. Required fields are marked *.

I’m hoping that you might enjoy these Carolan tunes that I’ve recorded over recent years. Is one of my favourite Caroan tunes. Played here in DADGAD with a capo on the 3rd. Not sure that Carolan would have approved of that E7 in the final outro though. O’Carolan’s Draught and Hewlett. I first heard the first one on an Arty McGlynn album. This time we’re in Drop D tuning with the capo on the 2nd fret. O’Carolan’ Concerto. The Wild Rose of the Mountain. Unknown tune & Lord Inchiquin. June 26, 2015.

I’m feeling my time here draw to a close and I’m realizing all the things I have yet to do. Once of those was to see a match of the legendary game of Sumo. We soon had our own favorites and had a lot of fun guessing who was going to win as each pair took the stage. Would you take a picture with these Americans? As soon as we left the station we were greeted by...
