Jen's expedition log and other thoughts. Here is another very brief update of staff training. Day 17 - Wednesday 13 June - Day 5 KISC. Golitchen Cheesery Hike - 700m hight gain and loss, 12km return. An introduction to the art of hike guiding with particular emphasis on choosing walking speeds for groups and not going to fast at the begining. A good hike, the cheese was yummy, the veiws good but the uphills a bit steeper than is easy. Day 18 - Thursday 14 June - Day 6 KISC. Theory sessions and interviews.

Now some of the Swiss ones, on one of my first days off I went to Bern and the Art Museum has some very cool medieval art along with some very interesting and fun modern art.
