http://kapjones.blogspot.com/2015/01/catch-up-christmas-2014.html
Friday, January 16, 2015. Catch Up: Christmas 2014. In the end I found out it was our neighbor's dad and she told him to come by our house. BUT, at the time I didn't know who the heck he was but gladly and happily let him in my house to visit my children. I mean, wouldn't you? Christmas Eve, it was cookie making time for the big guy. The boys were adament on making gingerbread cookies (are there really people out there who like the taste of gingerbread cookies? The older boys got some beginner snow boards.

The Jones Boys: October 2013
http://kapjones.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 30, 2013. First stop on our way up to our cabin was Mt. Zion. We didn't explore the whole park but did get our taste of fall and fall colors on a little hike halfway up the park. The one and only shot of us as an entire family on this trip. After Mt. Zion, we started our drive to our cabin. This is what we had to drive through. A mile long tunnel through the mountain! Next up Bryce Canyon. Words cannot express how beautiful this place is. Pictures don't do it justice. Poor thing.he...

The Jones Boys: Snow Sculpting
http://kapjones.blogspot.com/2015/01/snow-sculpting.html
Sunday, January 25, 2015. Only in Minnesota, could you go on a leisure afternoon field trip to view a snow sculpting contest. This was one event of many during the Saint Paul Winter Carnival. Mix Mardi Gras with snow/winter festivities and you have Winter Carnival. This first on was a shark in progress. S was amazed how they got the fin to stand up firmly on the back. This one, when finished, was to be Elsa from the movie Frozen. Hands down, our favorite had to be the dragon. It was HUGE! Stuffed Baked P...

The Jones Boys: September 2013
http://kapjones.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 30, 2013. T's Rescue Bots Birthday. This post is quite late but I made a point to get it on here before Sept was over. Plus my mother-in-law kept asking where the post was. HAHA! She keeps me on task! I can't believe this guy is 6! There's something about turning 6. I imagine it's like when a child turns 10. I mean at 6 they are really a kid - there's no kindergarten about them anymore. They are a kid. Here's the crew (including little sister of one friend):. I think it pleased this guy.

The Jones Boys: Ice Fishing
http://kapjones.blogspot.com/2015/02/ice-fishing.html
Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Well, this weekend, the city had their annual Youth Ice Fishing Contest. We decided that would be the best way to try out our ice fishing skills. There's no way we could just go out on our own and do this new sport. So, we bought a couple of rod and reels and we were on our way. We knew what to do thanks to the class S and W went to the prior weekend. This one is our fisherman. He was bound and determined he was gonna catch one. Oh well, maybe next time.
