Were made by students studying with me on Design and Make Vintage Fabric Bags at Central Saint Martins. Both bags are beautifully lined and put together with a minimal amount of hand stitching. VINTAGE BAGS and FRAMED PURSES. This blog includes a list of purse frame suppliers. I have made this purse. With a basic easy to work with metal frame which has loops on which to attach a handle. I have used the hand embroidered corner of a vintage table cloth for the main part of the purse. The handle is made from a piece of the same table cloth but I could have chosen to make it from a string of beads or a chain. http:/ www.ahkwokbuckles.com/pufrdo.html.
