Saturday, July 25, 2015. Hidden Lake is hidden no more. We are in McCall this weekend for the wedding of the son of an old friend, here in McCall at the Shore Lodge. It was a beautiful night for their wedding on Friday evening. Today, we had our fly rods and backpacks to walk into Hidden Lake. This alpine lake is 3-4 miles off the road in the mountain just north of Brundage Ski Resort. We found it and fished several hours in between rain showers. It was a wonderful day. We are so lucky to get these special weekends - this weekend was with Noah where Grandpa and Grandma can totally focus on one grandchild to meet every wish. It all started with our arrival at McCall Friday night after dinner at a restaurant serving all our favorite foods. We then played with the water.
