With a trail of barrettes and pink ribbons in our wake. Friday, October 31, 2008. Bobbed for apples and played Pin the Ear on the Elephant (per Avril's request). Bobbing for apples was a huge hit as the kids thoroughly loved submerging their heads underwater. The elephant I made turned out pretty well. I am rather proud of this considering I have no artistic ability, but sometimes you're just feelin' it, and it turned out looking like a real elephant. :). Thursday, October 30, 2008. Tuesday, June 15, 2010. I LOVE the fabric. My latest project: repurposing. I found this terrible window treatment at the thrift store for a whopping $1 and immediately envisioned a dress for AJ. So the hideous trip was the first to go, and then the seams, excluding the top and bottom 1/2" hem. Then, using this shirring tutorial. You will probably hear/see me mention shirring or mock smocking quite a bit. It's my new favorite passion. I've already made AJ 2 dresses just this weekend with it.

Thursday, June 30, 2011. Day 7, 52 days left. My first week is done! And I have improved since I started! The jogging stroller and power walked the other 1/2 mi. What a workout! When I get home my whole body is tired from pushing that monstrous thing. But I wouldn't be able to run with out it, seeing as Michael's schedule and my exhaustion don't allow for optimum times to run by myself. By the way, this is my running stroller (above) a Croozer. 535 It's a stroller, jogger, and bike trailer. I LOVE IT!
