Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Today has been an unscheduled family day. vomit included! So I won't put in any pictures of course, who has time to take pictures when you are cleaning up puke and more importantly, who wants to see that! And then I got a call from Nicole telling me that they had a bit of a problem. Courtney had thrown up in their bed. Tuesday, January 31, 2012. 18 month update-for real this time. So I was attempting to update the blog on an ipad. Well, that doesn't work so well. I can't get it to actually type letters in the body of the blog. Oh well, back to the desktop :) I guess now that Courtney is 19 months I should get her 18 month update on here. I am sorry I have been so bad at blogging. Here is to a fresh start! We had Courtney's 18 month appointment at the beginning of January and the Doctor said everything looks good!

Sunday, July 22, 2012. Courtney had her 2 year pictures yesterday. It was a little rocky at first, but after a bit she actually started to smile and we had a good time. Take a look here. Following pictures, we decided to get a family pet. Since Brian is allergic to cats, Courtney is supposedly allergic to dogs, and I hate the rodent types of pets, we decided on a fish. Really we just didn't want a huge commitment at this time and fish are about as easy as it gets! What a cute granddaughter I have!

Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Last Wednesday it was a rainy day so we decided to go to the Children's Museum! Courtney had a blast, especially in the Habitot area. No, I did not misspell habitat. it is a little playground area for children under the age of 4. She also enjoyed the Curious George area as well as the child size ant colony which involved a lot of running. Some of the other areas were a bit old for her, but she made up her own games! Monday, November 28, 2011. I know this blog is about a month late, but who cares! We went to the corn maze on that incredibly nice day in October. Who thought we would be wearing short-sleeves and shorts in October! Courtney didn't really care for the corn maze, but loved the petting zoo, the bin of corn kernels and the bales of straw to climb on. What is this stuff? It is stuck in my toes. Finally realized how fun this is! Just wandering around in the corn. What a good Daddy! The end of the bales.

Sunday, July 29, 2012. Courtney's 2 year check-up. Well the results are in! She is a healthy and happy. This time at the doctor she got to use the big girl scale and the big girl height chart. She really liked the scale and didn't want to get off. We then proceeded to the room in which the Medical Assistant gave Courtney a table place mat to show the correct proportion of fruits, veggies, grains, protein, and dairy. Guess what is on our table? You guessed it, her plate has to go there each meal. Awesome ...
