Pasture of Plenty: Showing Up
http://pastureofplenty.blogspot.com/2011/03/showing-up.html
Friday, March 18, 2011. The images from Japan are soul crushing. Overwhelming doesn’t even begin to describe the immensity of the loss and the work ahead to peel away the levels of devastation. The very ground we walk on is hurting. It is up to us to soften our steps, to lighten the load. I once attended a funeral where the officiating pastor shared some wisdom that stuck with me. He said when someone experiences a loss, we immediately ask “What can we do? How can we help? Turn a stray into a pet. Leave ...

Pasture of Plenty: February 2010

Sunday, February 7, 2010. I read something recently that struck a chord with me. 8220;Honesty involves taking responsibility. Judgment has to do with placing blame,” Judith Lasater. Yoga teacher and author. I liken it to a few hours I spent underground once in far northwestern Oklahoma. A few years ago, our family decided to try real-live spelunking and take on the wild caves at Alabaster Caverns State Park near the tiny town of Freedom. After officially checking in at the park office and being outfi...

Pasture of Plenty: April 2010
http://pastureofplenty.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 4, 2010. My beautiful friend Barbara – whom I consider to be an Okie goddess ruling over innate wisdom, 360-degree perception and stealth-like courage and humor – told me she didn’t know if she could stand it if it wasn’t Easter. She had just returned from Haiti less than 12 hours earlier. I knew immediately what she meant. It wasn’t about her at all – it was a statement about finding hope, and believing it might be able to pull this heavy, thrashing world in its wake. Sunday, April 04, 2010.

The adventures of second time parents. Sunday, August 9, 2015. Lil' tex, Big bro. I could go on forever about the fun we had, the love that was shared, and the memories that were made. You kinda really have to be there to fully understand what it's like. For all of my days I will cherish these adored moments, and know that I am sharing something really special with my children. With hopes the tradition will live on in them. This year was extra special, We got to reveal that WE ARE HAVING ANOTHER BABY!

The adventures of second time parents. Thursday, October 30, 2014. Unfortunately The Theriots will not have a Halloween this year. Jarrod and I both have to work, and Lincoln gets to go to a football game with Oma and Opa. Which I know he will LOVE. I just hate that we are going to miss it. We did not even get Linc an outfit. So instead of pictures of Linc in his costume, here are just a few sweet pictures of Linc :). Please Enjoy the many faces of Lincoln. Blayne is # 7. Blayne and his best fried Chase.

oh those greens: March 2012
http://ohthosegreens.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 9, 2012. Six Months in Photos. I love writing, really I do. I want to write more but it is difficult to find the time and energy. I also love taking pictures of my children but even that doesn't happen as frequently as it did with my firstborn. Is it too late to resolve to take more photos and write more in 2012? Nah, it's never too late for a resolution. So where has all my time and energy gone? It has killed me to see her in pain. So here is what we've been up to the last six months.

Bundled up and ready for some fun in the snow! We got to see these cool people: Uncle KC, Nana, Auntie Lisa, Uncle Alex, and Pa (left to right). Waiting for fish to bite. Winter walk with Daddy. Thank you, Nana and Pa! We miss you already! I love the blog updates! Hope you had a Happy New Year! January 11, 2013 at 9:44 PM. Happy 3rd Birthday, Liam!
