Thursday, 11 June 2015. Summer has arrived (well maybe! This is what we like to see, a nice empty boatyard and all the boats out on hire and hopefully everyone enjoying themselves. As it is so quiet we are taking the opportunity to catch up on some private boat work. VOYAGER has been out under the gantry to have her bottom cleaned and re antifouled. Meanwhile over the river in our big pulling out workshop we have a big old wooden Broom out for repair, and already Steve has removed a few rotten planks.

Friday, 11 November 2011. The River Great Ouse. A couple of weeks ago, saw us pay a visit to my sister Jane who lives just the other side of Peterborough. Whilst there we took a look at Houghton Mill on the Great Ouse. Houghton Mill was one of these places, having a lock alongside, we used to pass this place regularly on one of our summer holiday cruises. .
